AMP recognizes World Water Day
As we all know a powerful Earthquake of magnitude 7.8 and several aftershocks in Turkey and Syria shook the ground for more than 200 miles on Monday, February 6 leaving more than 20,000 dead and lakhs injured and homeless.
As buildings collapsed due to the powerful quake, many of those dead and survivors are trapped in the rubble. Due to the harsh winter and the inaccessible roads, the relief work is extremely difficult. This humanitarian crisis has left thousands of families homeless and vulnerable to severe weather conditions.
The immediate action plan is to alleviate their suffering and provide them with the necessities they lack such as food, clothing, medicines and winter aid to families affected by the earthquake. AMP Inc. USA will be liaising with the Turkish and Syrian Consulate in Chicago and provide the relief items as per the requirements shared by them.
The Messenger of Allah ? said, “The believers in their mutual kindness, compassion and sympathy are just like one body. When one of the limbs suffers, the whole body responds to it with wakefulness and fever” [al-Bukhari and Muslim].
